At Blandin & Delloye, elegance goes hand in hand with responsibility. That's why we created the eco-score, a transparent tool that allows our customers to see the environmental impact of their clothing choices. Based on product life-cycle analysis (LCA), this eco-score reflects our commitment to combining style and sustainability.

This approach is rare for a company of our size, as it represents an investment in time and money that few companies can afford. But for us, it's an important and necessary choice for a more responsible future.

A complete life cycle assessment

The eco-score takes into account every stage in the design of a made-to-measure suit: from the cultivation of raw materials to tailoring, right through to final delivery. We analyse key criteria such as CO₂ emissions, water consumption and animal welfare. This approach allows us to reveal the real environmental footprint of our suits.

Concrete results for our suits

A two-piece suit made from 100% Italian wool, for example, achieved an overall score of 64/100.

This result, validated by Clear Fashion, highlights our efforts to optimise our production while minimising its impact.

Every piece of data collected helps us to refine our choice of materials and manufacturing processes.

An educational tool for our customers

In addition to its evaluation function, the eco-score raises our customers’ awareness of environmental issues. It enables them to choose a suit not only on the basis of its cut and fabric, but also its ecological footprint, reinforcing their personal commitment to more responsible fashion.
