SOLAR ELEGANCE IN WINTER

Winter has this annoying tendency to make everything look the same. Colours fade, silhouettes darken. At Blandin & Delloye, we like to take the opposite approach. To usher in 2026, we've come up with a warm, almost sunny silhouette, designed as a remedy for the greyness. A wardrobe that plays with shades of rust, terracotta and greige to bring out the light without ever losing elegance. An outfit designed for today's man: active, mobile, effortlessly elegant.

In a nutshell

This silhouette is based around a Dormeuil two-piece suit in dry wool, complemented by a traditional trenchcoat to take on the elements. For added versatility, we suggest a Mix & Match variant : a textured Piacenza jacket paired with Marzotto greige trousers , retaining the warmth of our terracotta linen shirt.

THE TRENCHCOAT, A WARDROBE ICON

Born in the ranks of the army before conquering the city, the trenchcoat is one of the great pieces of the men’s wardrobe. Our version is made from Olmetex fabric , weighing in at a generous 390 g/m², offering ideal structure and protection for winter.

Faithful to the original, it retains all the features that made it such a success: 6-button double-breasted fastening, outer waistband, right shoulder yoke, shoulder tabs and cuff tabs.

Its beige colour balances the warm tones of the outfit, bringing light and contrast to the ensemble.

The 6-button double-breasted fastening respects the classic style of the military trench coat while ensuring an elegant, tailored silhouette. The centrepiece of the silhouette, this two-piece suit is made from 100% virgin dry wool by Dormeuil, a leading French clothier since 1842. Breathable and comfortable, this fabric is ideal for everyday winter wear.

Its deep rust hue adds warmth and character, while remaining easy to match. The jacket, in a semi-woven construction, features a 9 cm straight notch lapel and Neapolitan shoulders for a structured yet natural look. The trousers complete the look with an extended placket and asymmetric side adjusters, for precise fit and optimum comfort.

Because elegance isn’t limited to the classic suit – it’s also revealed in the art of mismatching, so here’s a second interpretation of this outfit. A silhouette designed for those who like to play with materials and shades, while maintaining an elegant coherence.

The Piacenza jacket, made from a subtle blend of wool, silk and linen, adds a unique visual richness. Its very light 180 g/m fabric offers an almost imperceptible feel on the shoulders, ideal for busy days or heated winter interiors. This lightness in no way detracts from its elegance: on the contrary, it emphasises a supple, natural and modern look.

Pair it with a pair of Marzotto grey trousers, whose wool adds structure and hold to the silhouette. Its luminous hue perfectly balances the depth of the jacket, creating a subtle, refined contrast.
