Custom-made outfit, July 2026

THE BREATH OF AUTUMN

It’s hard to think about it when the sun is still beating down and summer is in full swing, and yet: autumn is approaching, bringing with it a desire for warmer fabrics and deeper colours. Because every made-to-measure outfit takes time to create, you’ll need to order it now to receive it in September, just as the first cool days arrive.

For this autumn, we’ve brought together fabrics with character and warming colours: a green suit in Caviar Dormeuil wool, a brown tweed, corduroy and a chambray shirt. A wardrobe that our brand ambassador, Kevis Manzi, wears with effortless elegance.

In summary

An autumn look built on layers: the green Caviar Dormeuil suit as the centrepiece, white corduroy trousers to add a touch of light, a pure wool coat for cooler days, a brown tweed jacket as a casual alternative, and a chambray shirt worn with dark brown derbies to tie the whole look together.

THE CENTREPIECE: THE GREEN SUIT

Green is the quintessential colour of autumn, and we have chosen it in a Caviar wool from Dormeuil, one of France’s leading drapers. Its tight weave catches the light and lends this deep green a richness that unfolds as the day goes on.

The straight-cut, two-button jacket retains its structure without ever feeling stiff, thanks to a slightly rolled shoulder cap that allows the arm full freedom of movement, whilst the trousers fall effortlessly over their turn-ups. A suit that has the presence of a black suit without the formality, equally suited to the office as it is to a late-season dinner.

THE ART OF LAYERING: THE CARCOAT

THE BROWN WOOL CARCOAT

When a suit alone is no longer enough, the carcoat comes into its own. Crafted from 360 g/m² pure wool in a brown checked pattern, it is dense enough to keep out the cold without ever looking heavy: the perfect outerwear piece for the autumn-winter season, something you’ll reach for without a second thought on a chilly morning, equally at home over a suit as it is over a sweater.

Short and straight-cut, it fastens with five visible buttons and offers protection from the wind thanks to its buttoned cuff tabs, whilst its angled front pockets keep your hands warm. Its dark brown suede collar trim and medium-brown lining are a testament to its refined detailing, and its warm brown tone complements the green of the suit perfectly – a piece you’ll keep for years to come.

THE GLOWING THREAD: OFF-WHITE TROUSERS

OFF-WHITE TROUSERS

Corduroy is, by its very nature, an autumn and winter fabric: warm, textured and instantly recognisable by its ribbed pattern. But its off-white hue lends it an almost summery brightness, making it the ideal piece for the transition into autumn. This lightness brightens up the tweeds and browns of the outfit and extends the spirit of the warmer months without turning its back on the season to come.

In terms of cut, it features a loose, flowing silhouette with two outer pleats and side drawstrings to adjust the waist without a belt. The back is finished with two piped pockets, whilst the turn-up adds weight to the lower leg. Its lightness brightens up the browns of the carcoat, the maroon of the tweed and the green of the suit, where dark trousers would have weighed the whole look down. Proof that you can carry the spirit of summer well beyond September.

THE ALTERNATIVE: THE TWEED JACKET

THE BROWN TWEED JACKET

For a more relaxed look than a full suit, the brown tweed jacket is the ideal alternative. If you had to choose just one piece for autumn, it would be this: the fabric has texture, warmth and depth.

Its slightly wider lapels and patch pockets set it apart from a formal suit, giving it a more relaxed feel. Worn open over corduroy trousers, from the office to Sunday lunch, it’s a jacket that develops character over time and grows on you a little more each season.

The chambray shirt

THE BLUE CHAMBRAY SHIRT

Chambray bridges the gap between seasons: cool enough for the last of the summer days, deep enough to complement greens and tweeds.

This 100% Albini cotton shirt features a bold blue that can be worn with the collar open today, and soon under a tweed jacket.

It is finished with a 70 mm button-down collar and very rounded cuffs for a smart look.

Its two back darts create a fitted silhouette, accentuated by contrasting ivory-coloured buttons.
