In short

A foundational piece, built to last and adapt to your daily life.

The Fabric

The Draper

These trousers are crafted from fabric by Vitale Barberis Canonico, one of the oldest wool mills in the world, founded in 1663 in Italy. Renowned for its craftsmanship and the flawless quality of its textiles, VBC blends tradition and innovation in its production processes. Choosing fabric from this house means investing in a durable, comfortable, and elegant material.

The Composition

These trousers are made from dry wool, a technical fabric with outstanding properties. Unlike thicker or brushed wools, dry wool has a matte, fluid, and structured look. It resists wrinkling, breathes well, and moves naturally with you. Weighing 240 g/m², it’s ideal for transitional seasons: not too warm, not too thin, it provides comfort and structure all day long.

The Colour

Timeless and elegant, navy blue is arguably the easiest colour to wear in a man’s wardrobe. It works perfectly for both professional settings and more personal occasions. Striking the perfect balance between formal and casual, it pairs effortlessly with neutral tones (white, grey, beige) as well as bolder colours. It’s flattering on all skin tones—a safe bet, and a solid foundation for building versatile looks.

Our options

Belt Loops

These trousers feature classic belt loops, allowing you to add a belt of your choice. A small detail—but a meaningful one. It gives you the freedom to switch up your style depending on the context: a slim leather belt for a professional look, or braces for a more sartorial or vintage vibe.

Slanted Italian Pockets

These angled pockets are cut diagonally, making them practical for naturally slipping your hands into and visually softening the line of the trousers. Called “Italian” pockets because this style is widely used in Italian tailoring, they are a subtle detail that makes a big difference in how the trousers shape your figure.

A Clean Hem Finish

The trousers end in a simple, slightly slanted hem with no cuff. This creates a clean, sharp fall over your shoes and keeps the leg line sleek. It’s also what makes these trousers so versatile: they pair just as easily with dress shoes as they do with more casual loafers.
