Building your sartorial wardrobe

Parisian Gentleman x Blandin & Delloye

For this new collaboration with Hugo Jacomet and the renowned house Dormeuil, we wanted to make it easier for those starting their sartorial journey to acquire their first made-to-measure outfit.

This is why we have envisioned 7 outfits to offer you this year, including 3 new options compared to last year, in response to the many requests we received from you:

First new addition :
In addition to offering 3 classic suits again, designed for those of you looking for a versatile first basic, we have decided to add 4 more "advanced" suits.
These models take bolder stances in terms of colors, proportions, and patterns, to meet the expectations of those who wish to use bespoke tailoring to incorporate more assertive pieces into their wardrobes.

Second novelty:
Among these 7 outfits, we have created three women's versions to respond to the growing demand from women passionate about the sartorial craft.

Third new addition:
We are offering a first overcoat as part of this operation. We have chosen a strong piece, rooted in a solid sartorial tradition, while remaining versatile thanks to its understated color. It is a navy blue Polocoat, the details of which you will find below.

The “Create Your Tailored Wardrobe” Event

To help you build your custom sartorial wardrobe, Hugo Jacomet has defined, in collaboration with Blandin & Delloye and the fabric house Dormeuil, seven suits. You can choose from this selection to create a made-to-measure suit, taking advantage of the “Create Your Sartorial Wardrobe” promotion.

We have selected Dormeuil fabrics from three iconic collections: Royal 11 Krono, Amadeus, and Tonik Wool. Below, you will find the characteristics that have made these three collections renowned, as well as the reasons why we have chosen them.

Among the seven selected fabrics, three are Dormeuil’s classic staples—bestsellers that allow for the creation of timeless, versatile outfits.

The remaining four fabrics feature bolder patterns, such as stripes, Prince of Wales, and Glencheck. We have also added a touch of chromatic audacity with a very dark green fabric, specially designed for this collection.

Finally, for the Polocoat, we selected a Dormeuil wool fabric weighing 680 g/m² in dark navy blue.

Below, you will find the detailed description of each of these suits and the Polocoat, so you can choose the one that best suits your style to complete your wardrobe.

DORMEUIL

Since 1842, Dormeuil has established itself as one of the world’s leading and most prestigious clothiers.

Since its inception, this French company has maintained a history closely linked to British elegance. The majority of its fabrics were—and still are—produced in England, in the Yorkshire region.

Over the years, Dormeuil has developed weaving techniques and compositions that have become essential references in the sartorial world.
It is also a company that has supported the development of Blandin & Delloye since our beginnings in 2013. Since then, we have always cultivated and strengthened this partnership: Dormeuil now occupies a prominent place in our collections offered in stores.

For this project, we have chosen our fabrics from three iconic collections from the brand, taking into account their performance and the drape of the selected wool fabrics. Below you will find some key information about these three collections:

We are deeply committed to Dormeuil, with whom we share strong values: elegance, CSR commitment, and support for the sartorial world and its influence.
We are therefore very proud to count Dormeuil as a partner in this ambitious project.

Tonik Wool

Composition: 100% Super 100’s merino wool. A direct heritage of the legendary “Tonik” from the 1950s. Its weight ranges between 260–280 g/m², making it perfect for mid-season and summer.

Amadeus

Composition: 100% Super 100’s or 120’s merino wool. With a weight between 280–300 g/m², it is suitable for all four seasons.

Krono Royal II

Composition: 100% Super 130’s merino wool. With a weight ranging from 300–360 g/m², this fabric is denser and ideal for spring/autumn or winter.

The word of d'Hugo Jacomet

It is my great pleasure today to present to you the second edition of our exceptional “custom suits” campaign, in partnership with my friends at Blandin & Delloye and the prestigious Dormeuil house, whose fabrics, woven in England, are among the finest in the world.

Following the resounding success of the first campaign in October 2024—during which more than 1,700 gentlemen commissioned their made to measure suit (nearly 1,500 of them experiencing made to measure tailoring for the very first time)—and given the extraordinary enthusiasm generated by this initiative, it quickly became evident that we needed to continue along this path: to open wide the doors of sartorial custom tailoring, to allow as many of you as possible (across all generations) to discover the joys of custom clothing, and to help you gradually build an elegant, high-quality wardrobe.

To meet this strong demand, we have worked on a second campaign with several exciting new features: a broader fabric selection, including more patterns (stripes and Prince of Wales checks), and—most importantly for the very first time—three women’s tailoring models! For quite some time now, Sonya and I have been receiving numerous requests in this regard, and we are therefore delighted to welcome ladies and young women into this fascinating sartorial adventure.

In this new and truly exceptional offer, I sincerely believe that everyone will find something to delight them: beginners, with three classic suit models crafted in solid but superior-quality fabrics; more seasoned gentlemen, with double-breasted suits and sophisticated patterns; and women, with three elegant and feminine proposals.

One of the greatest strengths of this collaboration is, of course, the remarkable network that Blandin & Delloye has patiently built over the past 12 years, with the opening of 20 boutiques across almost the entire French territory, as well as in Belgium and Canada. It is thanks to this strong regional presence that my dream of making sartorial made to measure accessible to as many of you as possible is becoming a reality.

In a world where casual dress has become the norm and elegance the exception, our ambition with these large-scale initiatives is to show that comfort and elegance can, indeed, go hand in hand.

To feel at one’s very best is, in my view, neither a secondary aspect of life nor a superficial pursuit. It is the expression of an aesthetic sensibility and a way of inhabiting the world.

I wholeheartedly wish you wonderful experiences in the Blandin & Delloye salons—and if some of you decide to embark on this adventure as a couple, then Sonya and I will be overjoyed!

With warm regards,

Hugo Jacomet
