Custom-Made Outfit, September 2026

LIGHTS OF SEPTEMBER

As summer gently fades away, the light changes. The mornings grow cooler, the city regains its rhythm, and men’s wardrobes rediscover the subtle art of layering. To accompany this gentle transition, we have collaborated with Guillaume Bo to create a complete autumn outfit, built around fine fabrics, cosy textures and a palette of earthy, mineral tones.

An ode to relaxed sartorialism, where every piece finds its place in perfect harmony.

In summary

Designed as a lesson in layering, the September outfit brings together four striking and complementary pieces: a two-piece suit in Italian Vitale Barberis Canonico flannel in a luminous warm grey, a brown Pop Over shirt blending cotton and lyocell for a silky feel, a work jacket with a Bavarian collar in Moon wool, adding texture, depth and structure, and a Country Jacket in water-repellent Drago virgin wool, designed as the ultimate outer layer against the autumn chill.

THE CENTREPIECE: THE FLANNEL SUIT

This two-piece suit in Italian Vitale Barberis Canonico flannel (340 g/m) epitomises the autumn wardrobe. Its warm grey shade, with a slight taupe undertone, captures the low September light and moves away from the stiffness of classic office greys.

Its Milanese-shouldered jacket, with a subtle English roll, creates a natural silhouette without ever restricting movement. As for the pleatless trousers, fitted with arrowhead-shaped drawstrings and finished with generous 5 cm turn-ups, they offer a fluid, modern silhouette. A centrepiece that’s equally at home during the working week as it is on casual weekends.

A WARM CONTRAST: THE POP-OVER SHIRT

THE BROWN POP-OVER SHIRT

To soften the starkness of grey, nothing beats the richness of a deep chocolate brown. This three-button pop-over shirt breaks with the tradition of the classic white shirt, adding a touch of very Italian casual chic.

Crafted from a remarkably fluid blend (59% cotton and 41% lyocell), it offers a silky feel and ideal breathability for mid-season days. Its wide 85 mm Italian collar falls naturally over the lapels of a jacket, whilst its genuine mother-of-pearl buttons add a luminous contrast to the overall look.

THE OVERCOAT: THE JACKET WITH A BAVARIAN COLLAR

THE MOON BAVARIAN-COLLARED JACKET

The second layer in this skilfully crafted ensemble, the Bavarian-collar work jacket adds depth and structure to the silhouette. Crafted from a heavy English wool broadcloth by Moon (375 g/m), it stands out for its beige hue and its chic, rustic texture.

Its high stand-up collar offers elegant protection from the autumn wind; whether worn open under a coat or buttoned over a pop-over shirt, it exudes a decidedly contemporary ‘gentleman farmer’ vibe.

THE ALTERNATIVE: THE COUNTRY JACKET

To complete this layered look and brave the first frosts, the Country Jacket stands out as the ultimate outerwear piece. Crafted from Italian Drago virgin wool with a water-repellent finish, it combines the durability of an exceptional garment with the lightness of a modern cut.

Its brown corduroy collar echoes the pop-over shirt, creating a subtle and harmonious colour contrast. With its practical gusseted pockets and adjustment tabs, it wraps around the silhouette without weighing it down, adding the finishing touch to this outfit designed for both city outings and Sunday jaunts.
