We’d like to introduce you to him in a few lines!

After more than 10 years of hectic Parisian life, Alain le Challenger decided to return to his native Alsace and open the Blandin & Delloye showroom at 10 Rue Sainte-Hélène in downtown Strasbourg.

Passionate about the finer things in life, and always ready with good advice, Alain will tell you time and again that the art of elegance lies in subtlety. Every detail is important, if it’s well thought out. A veteran of film sets and photo shoots, he’ll tell you that it’s important to know your own body and the mood it exudes to feel at ease.

In our Strasbourg showroom, you'll discover tailor-made suit creations of timeless elegance. Alain pays meticulous attention to every detail. Whether you're looking for a suit, shirt or accessory, he'll guide you according to your needs and style.

Who are you?
Thibaut, partner and adviser at Blandin & Delloye Strasbourg.

 

What’s your ideal suit?
In winter, a navy blue or grey suit with chalk-coloured stripes and a very British cut: a 6x2 double-breasted jacket with smart lapels and high-waisted pleated trousers, all worn with derbies. For summer, a relaxed-fit beige suit in the Italian style with high-waisted trousers featuring double pleats, paired with loafers.

 

Your favourite colour?
I can’t decide between navy blue and beige. These colours are perfect for all seasons and ideal for mixing and matching outfits.

 

Your weekend look?
A loose-fitting linen T-shirt or a shirt, with wide-leg bootcut trousers and a nice pair of brown leather ankle boots or loafers.

 

An Instagram account that inspires you?
There are loads of great accounts on Instagram. For classic tailoring, I’d say @discussions.sartoriales and @duke-vallington. For a relaxed yet elegant style, I prefer @emmanuelpcr and @kevin-tipstyle. I’ve also got a soft spot for Henry Cavill, who looks perfect in every situation!
