Aware of environmental issues, we value every stage of the production process. Our suits are designed to be worn and worn again, well beyond the big day. Each piece is designed to stand the test of time, adapting to changes in body shape and transforming itself according to the wearer’s usage and lifestyle.
Over 99% of our costumes are made to order. This made-to-measure production avoids overproduction and limits unnecessary stocks.
Some fabric scraps, representing around 3 to 4% of the material used, are recycled to create recycled wool products, such as duvets and other textiles suitable for short fibres. Unsold items are also given a second life by our partner associations.
At Blandin & Delloye, quality begins with the choice of materials. We select our fabrics from exceptional drapers, including Dormeuil, Holland & Sherry and Drago, while working with many other prestigious suppliers renowned for the finesse, quality and durability of their fabrics.
These fabrics guarantee that the structure and elegance of the suit will be maintained well beyond the wedding day.
Designed to last, our suits can be worn again after the wedding, for other ceremonies, business events or more formal everyday occasions. They can also be altered to accommodate slight changes in body shape and extend their lifespan.
Last but not least, the pieces can be mixed and matched, so you can mix and match jackets and trousers to create more combinations and add to your wardrobe in a sustainable way.
In the shop, our advisors work with each customer to anticipate these uses and make informed choices, so that a suit remains an elegant, evolving and responsible investment.
Choosing a responsible suit means first and foremost understanding what you are wearing.
At Blandin & Delloye, we transparently share the traceability of our materials so that you can make an informed choice.
This approach gives tailoring its full meaning and strengthens the relationship of trust between the company and the wearer.
Our teams are fully committed to this responsible approach. From costume design to in-store advice, every step is taken to offer made-to-measure fashion that is ethical and respectful of the environment.
